In the extrusion process, the quality of the product is dependent on the condition of the tooling used to shape aluminium. Existing deviations in quality, in the press flow or in the profile geometry are usually the result of wear. To counteract, tools are regularly corrected and nitrated by the plants according to defined cycles, followed by a test extrusion.
